Ice Skating, Brothers, and Basketball

January finds us with wishing the weather was a bit warmer and that there was  more to do.
(I feel lucky that I've managed to put together a few posts this month!)
So, on the days that we are feeling a little cabin feverish, we've headed over to the Bubble for some swimming, ice skating, basketball playing and walking.

Will is determined to skate better this year. I've determined that I don't ice skate.

The girls do pretty well.
(Dallin is not pictured because he chose to swim)

First time around. Everyone is a little nervous.

The girls were so nice to Will and helped him go around the rink.

By the time we were ready to leave, Will had mastered skating around by himself.
Way to go guys!

Brothers!
Dallin looks up to Colton so much and tries to be like him!
I love these boys so much!

Dallin has signed up for Jr. Jazz this year and so far he has played two games and is having a blast.
It is so fun to watch him and his team play.

Well, that about sums January up.
We're buys a usual with life around here:
Josh spent two weeks of January in Denver, Colton is counting down the days until he leaves for Snow College and finally got new tires for his truck, Shawna' is trying really hard to keep her grades up and has been asked to babysit a few times this month,  Dallin is having fun playing basketball, Camryn is having fun learning to play the piano, Dallin and Camryn have been having fun participating in the school musical, Will enjoys playing with his best friend Porter and loves being a Tiger Scout. I am happy to just be able to find a spare moment to read and maybe sometimes scrap book.

Christmas lamb

I love this picture of Will. He is always such a ham. We were celebrating Christmas Eve at my mother-in-laws and all of the kids re-enacted the birth of Jesus. Every grand kid had a part. (There are 21+ kids!)
will was the lamb. And what a lamb he is!
I love this boy so much! He is such a blessing to our family!

Christmas 2010

So, I've finally got a minute to blog about our Christmas (we'll I thought that I did, now the kids are playing up here and causing problems!). We had a wonderful Christmas. We had at least 4 or 5 family/friend Christmas Parties and of course Christmas Day at our house. I cooked a turkey dinner for Christmas too. The kids all really enjoyed Christmas. It's always so fun to watch them open gifts and to see them be just as excited about giving. Here are some pictures.

Trimming the tree
Cam was so excited about getting all of the decorations out this year!

Time for ornaments!

Getting the ornaments out.

Will felt that the tree needed a train set up under it, so he went to work.

After Santa came!

Christmas morning!

All of the kids got Heelies for Christmas...Will was especially excited because this was his first pair!

Santa even left a treat for the dog.

Colton got the boys Halo Reach! They were so excited!

Colton bought Josh and I a new flat screen t.v. for our bedroom.
He said that our old t.v. bugged him!

Webkinz!

Mummy bag to help Dallin get geared up for Scout Camp.

Colton got Shawna' a necklace/earring set.

The aftermath!

Merry Christmas family!
