I accompanied Shawna's 5th grade class on a field trip to the Clark Planetarium
and to the State Capital.
I have to admit, I really like this picture of me.
A group shot of the kids. It was a pretty neat trip, as I have never been to the State Capital, and it has been under construction for a few years.

Girl Scouts

We celebrated Girl Scouts 96th Birthday by having our own troop's party. It was a blast!

The house is painted!

The living room got a two tone paint job.
Josh likes to refer to this room as the Chocolate Palace...teehee

Now I just need to make some curtains, hopefully this week and we should be good to go, that is until the next project. Welcome to home ownership!

While the entry way got a nice coat of Sunkissed Yellow.

It's amazing what a good coat of paint can do! Thanks for all of your help honey!!!

Fixing up the house

Will helping his Daddy take down the paneling...what a good little worker.

Taking down the lovely mirrors... and putting up a plain wall. It's been a lot of work, but it has all been worth it. The house was 30 + years in need of an update.

Well, I could spend way to much time on here, and I probably will. Josh is thinking this is just what I need, one more thing to do! Like I should be fixing dinner or cleaning the house or something.

Will's 4th Birthday

March 7, 2008 William turned 4. For his birthday he went to the store to pick out his Brand New Bike. He was so excited. He rode it up and down the sidewalk all afternoon long. Wow, I can't believe that he is 4 already. Happy Birthday buddy, mom loves you!
