Update

May 2 I flew back home to Arizona because my dad was going in for open heart surgery. Well, he ended up having a quadruple bypass, and the first few days were really scary. He is home now and doing much better. Thanks to all for their thoughts and prayers during this time. You are all appreciated. Anyway's here are a few phots I took before I left so that I could make a get well poster for my dad from the kids. Dallin
Shawna'
Will...
who by the way was not happy that I was leaving so abruptly, if you can't tell by the expression on his face. On the ride to the airport he was very quiet, except for when he asked where I was going, to which I replied that I was going to go help take care of Grampi, to which he then replied, Well, where is his Mom? Classic out of the mouths of Babes!

Camryn, she just woke up.

Colton is the only one that I didn't get a picture of beacause he already left for school. My visit home was good considering the circumstances, but it could have been worse. I was able to visit with family and friends and everything worked out ok.
This is my cute little nephew down in Arizona. His name is Jace. He's 2 and I could have brought him home and kept him. :)

Baseball 2008

Baseball season has officially begun.
Dallin is playing machine pitch this year and is on the SF Giants. His team is 5-2 this year.
He has hit 2 homeruns since the begning of the season.
Dallin has enjoyed playing catcher a few times this season.
On first, ready to run the bases.
Playing the first baseman position.
Getting ready to hit.

Field Trip to Tracy Aviary

On April 29, 2008 I went with the 2nd Grade on a Field Trip to Tracy Aviary.

Dallin on the bus, ready to go.
One of the birds that we saw.
My personal favorite, the Flamingos.
And who can forget the noisest birds of all...The Peacock's.
It was a fun time, as I always enjoy being able to go with the kids on field trips when I can.

Camryn's 7th Birthday

Camryn had a Harry Potter Birthday Party!
The Birthday Girl. 7 years old...WOW!
Tons of fun at the party!

April 10, 2008

I accompanied Shawna's 5th grade class on a field trip to the Clark Planetarium
and to the State Capital.
I have to admit, I really like this picture of me.
A group shot of the kids. It was a pretty neat trip, as I have never been to the State Capital, and it has been under construction for a few years.

Girl Scouts

We celebrated Girl Scouts 96th Birthday by having our own troop's party. It was a blast!

Shawna' and her Girl Scout friend Meg.

The house is painted!

The living room got a two tone paint job.
Josh likes to refer to this room as the Chocolate Palace...teehee
Now I just need to make some curtains, hopefully this week and we should be good to go, that is until the next project. Welcome to home ownership!
While the entry way got a nice coat of Sunkissed Yellow.
It's amazing what a good coat of paint can do! Thanks for all of your help honey!!!
I Love You XOXO
