Double Digits...

Dallin celebrated his 10th birthday on June 13. He is officially in the double digits now!
He opened presents with the family. He got a MP3 player, a new book, a t-shirt, and a new football.
I think he was pretty excited.

His new book and shirt.

Opening his MP3 player...totally excited!

Awesome football....it's sweet!

So excited!

On Wednesday June 16, we celebrated Dallin's birthday at the park with the family.
Bethany got Dallin a mini Nerf football.

Dallin received another football for his birthday from Connor, Sam and family.
He was so excited to have all the cousins at the park for a game of flag football.

Dallin, I can not describe to you how the last TEN years have been with you. You are a bright, compassionate, caring, aggressive, competitive, sports loving guy.
You make every day memorable in so many ways. I hope that you know how much your family loves you and how much you mean to all of us.
Here's to you being 10, and never being in the single digits again!

13!

On Sunday June 6, Shawna' turned 13.
We celebrated by having Josh's chicken wings for her birthday dinner.
(Dallin wanted the same thing for his dinner, so we combined their birthday dinners)

Throwing done some yummy wings!

Soooooo GOOD!

Afterwards we invited the whole family over to celebrate with cake and ice cream.
Shawna' wanted Lily Pads on her cake with blue icing.

Singing Happy Birthday!

She is sure beautiful!

Opening gifts...she got lots of new shirts...even a few New Moon ones!

Checking out the goods.

Even days later, I can't believe that she is 13 already. Where has the time gone? It seems as if she was just a little girl not that long ago. I remember so many things like when she learned to pull herself up at 5 months, walking at 9 months, frequently cutting her hair, taking her to her first day of Kindergarten (and yes, I cried!), loving to play babies and Barbie's, loving to spend time with her Grandparents, loosing her first tooth, learning to ride her bike, learning to play the violin and the trumpet, dropping her off for her first day of Junior High.
Thinking back about all of these things makes me sad. She is no longer a little girl, but growing into a fine young lady.
Shawana', Happy Birthday love!
I love you so much and I'm so proud of the young lady that you are becoming!
(Minus all the drama! LOL)

Some fun times and swimming

Shawna' and her Girl Scout troop went to Boondock's for a night of fun...an all night long of fun!

Waiting to ride the virtual reality ride.

Getting ready to go.
The picture doesn't show it, but Shawna' was soooo nervous!

A day at the Bubble...the kids love to swim.

Now that summer is here, we will be hanging here quiet a lot!
