Camping at Current Creek July 2008

From July 27-30 we went camping up at Current Creek. It was gorgeous, despite the 17 miles of washboard dirt road. The trailer survived, but the suburban did not. (More on that later)

Luckily, we were able to get camp set up before the rain storm hit. It ended up raining all night long. It was beautiful.

The next morning proved to be beautiful.

Beautiful enough for a nice day of fishing.

After an unsuccessful fishing trip, we headed back to camp. The kids and I and Chili decided to head down to the Beaver Pond and check it out. It was really cool.

Will had this stick and he really liked it, and Daisy(aka Man Bear Pig) came up and chewed the end of it off. If you look close enough, you can tell that Will is crying.

We had a great time. Camping is always fun, but it's always nice coming home to a shower and your own bed. Ahhh comforts of home.
