More from Will's Birthday.

Getting ready to blow out the candles! Make a wish...
Licking the frosting off.
Align CenterTime to open presents, while Sammy is getting her groove on in the background.
Little Sammy, full of energy.

William turns 5! 03/07/2009

WOW...my baby is no longer a baby. Not that he has been for a while, but I just find it so hard to believe that he is 5. Starting Kindergarten is just around the corner. It seems like just the other day, he was a baby. How time goes by.
Well, Happy Birthday Will!
Will with his new best friend Fluffy.
For Will's Birthday, I took him to the Gateway to the Build-A-Bear store. There he picked out this black Lab and helped put him together. He got to stuff him, give him some sound, put a heart in him, give him a bath, pick out some clothes and accessories, and take him home and love him forever. (for those who don't know Will very well, he is a huge dog lover!)
On Saturday, we celebrated Will's birthday with the family. He had a dog themed party with cake and ice cream too!
Will's cake.
I made him a train cake with dogs all over and Fire Truck cake too.
I have to admit that the Fire Truck looks more like a school bus, I could not get the frosting to go any redder!

Pine Wood Derby 2009

Back in January, our Cub Scout Pack held a Pine Wood Derby Race.
It was fun as always!

Dallin's car is the sleek silver one and Will's is the red one
with the racing stripes.

All of the Derby cars lined up and ready to race!

Dallin hugging Josh because his car just took 1st in the first heat.

That's Dallin on the far right with his hands up in the air. He just took 1st again.
He made it to the finals.
Will was able to race his car at the end, and he was pretty happy with the results.

My kids the Rockstars!

I was making dinner the other night, listening to some 80's music.
(Gotta love the 80's!)
The kids decided to be rock stars!
They were rocking out to some great hits like Whip It by Divo and such.

Dallin was the lead singer.
Camryn was on guitar and a back up singer.

Shawna' was the drummer and a back up singer as well.
It was so fun to watch them get so into it.

My wonderful children!

So I would just like to say that I have some of the most wonderful kids ever. I've not been feeling very well (a cold or something) for the last few days. I've not felt well enough to do much, so Josh has been playing Mr. Mom, fixing dinner, running kids here and there, helping with homework and such. As I was getting ready for the morning, to my surprise my 4 youngest kids had made me breakfast. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, toast with butter, and a glass of milk.

That totally made my morning. Thanks guys, you are the best and I love you so much!

05/22/2007
Dallin's 1st grade class took a field trip to the Hogle Zoo. I chaperoned. It was a fun time. I have always enjoyed taking the kids to the zoo, or going with them on their class field trips. They always seem to enjoy it as well.
Now I have to tag some more people for this fun little deal. So...I tag:
(Abby, I'm using some of the same people!)
1. Mellanee
2. Chris
3. Jenny
4. Elly
5. Martha
6. Bethany
And here are the rules:
1. Go to your documents/pictures.
2. Go to your 6th file.
3. Go to your 6th picture.
4. Blog about it.
5. Tag 6 people to do the same.
6. So here we go...
